The Talbot Mews Project: A Safe Place for Veterans to Rebuild Their Lives
At Helping Homeless Veterans UK, we believe no veteran should be left without a roof over their head. The Talbot Mews project offers a secure and supportive place for veterans to begin again, especially those who are sofa surfing or stuck in temporary accommodation.
Providing Safety and Independence
Talbot Mews offers six self-contained flatlets, each with its own ensuite bathroom. This setup gives veterans privacy, dignity, and the independence to feel at home while they work towards a fresh start.
A Supportive Community
More than just accommodation, Talbot Mews creates a space where veterans can feel understood. It brings together people with shared experiences, offering informal peer support and access to help for mental health when needed.
Helping Veterans Move Forward
The project is designed to be a stepping stone. With guidance and encouragement, we help residents make the move into permanent housing, access work opportunities, and rebuild confidence for life beyond homelessness.

About Helping Homeless Veterans UK
Established in 2019, Helping Homeless Veterans UK began as a Community Interest Company before becoming a registered charity. From day one, our mission has been to help house homeless veterans and provide the support they need to reintegrate into society.
We work closely with local authorities, make use of housing legislation, and partner with others who share our goal. We take pride in being transparent and honest in everything we do, always focused on achieving the best outcomes for veterans.
