Guinigault House: Our New Veterans’ Project in Port Talbot

Helping Homeless Veterans UK is proud to announce the launch of our latest property for Veterans in Port Talbot, West Wales.

This very special project will be named Guinigault House in memory of our much-loved D-Day Veteran, Alfred Guinigault, who we were honoured to house before he sadly passed away last year.

Guinigault House will provide four en-suite rooms for Veterans, alongside a shared kitchen and communal living space. The project follows the same proven model as our Bournemouth property, The Talbot Mews, offering a safe, supportive environment where Veterans can begin to rebuild their lives.

Accommodation here will be temporary, giving residents a place to stay while we work closely with their Local Authority and partner organisations to secure a long-term housing solution.

We believe strongly in the power of Veterans supporting Veterans. Living alongside others with shared experiences can be an important first step in finding stability, community, and hope for the future.

The work needed to bring Guinigault House to life is minimal and is funded entirely through grants, not public donations.

This is another step forward in our mission to ensure that no Veteran is left without a place to call home.
